- What type of retail establishment will the products in Boutique Boxes be suitable
for?
The products in Boutique Boxes will be suitable for gift shops, boutiques, spas, flower shops, hair salons, nail salons, and more. Each box will contain items such as luxurious handmade soaps and lotions, bath bombs, body butters, and scrubs. You may also see hand-poured candles, lip balms, artisan jewelry and hair ornaments. If there are numerous requests for a specific type of product that has not previously been offered, that I will contact vendors of that product and try to include them in future boxes. Boutique Boxes are designed for you and your feedback is welcomed! - Will each box contain exactly the same items?
We can't guarantee that the all boxes will contain the same items, because artisans and crafters may choose to send as few as 20 samples. We do encourage our vendors to send enough samples for all boxes, by offering them banner space and showcasing their company during each month in which they participate fully. And you can encourage more vendors to fully participate by doing business with them so they can see a return on their investment. We can guarantee that each box will contain the same number of quality items from the same number of vendors. - Are all of the products in the Boutique Boxes for women?
Not all of the products are for women, but most of them are. That's because women tend to make the majority of purchases in the gift shops, boutiques, spas, flower shops, hair salons, and nail salons that the Boutique Boxes are designed for. We women all have men in our lives that we sometimes buy for so you may see the occasional item for men. I've said it before and I'll keep on saying it....Boutique Boxes are designed for you to meet your needs! If there are a lot of requests for men's products, then we just may design a box especially for men's products. - Are all of the products sample sized?
Occasionally a vendor will send a full size product, but most send sample sizes in order to limit the size of their investment. Sample sizes are generous enough to allow you to try the product and evaluate it before you invest in purchasing a wholesale lot for your business. We encourage sample sizes because we can a fit a lot more sample sizes in a box thus giving you a bigger variety of products. - How much do the Boutique Boxes cost?
The total cost of each Boutique Box is only $22.95. This does include postage. - What if I want to get a box every month? Do you offer a subscription?
Yes, we will be offering monthly subscriptions. If you would like to go ahead and sign up for a subscription please email us at alison@boutiqueboxes.com so we can go ahead and get you on the list. A monthly subscription guarantees you that you will receive a box each month until you choose to cancel the subscription. Without a subscription, there is a very real possibility that we will run out of boxes before you get your order in. The boxes will go on sale on the first Friday of each month. Since we are limiting the # of boxes, you can choose to place a one-time order, or you can choose to have a box shipped to you monthly until you cancel your subscription. - Do you ship internationally?
No, unfortunately the cost of shipping to foreign countries, including Canada and Mexico, is prohibitive. In addition each country has their own labeling laws that are often very different from ours and not all of our vendors would be willing or able to comply with the requirements of a foreign country. - What if I don't like my box? May I return it for a refund?
We do not offer refunds. But we want you to be happy! We will, if your box is lost or damaged, ship a box the following month at no additional charge. We are confident that you will like the products in your box, since we only include products that we would be willing to offer our own customers. The only question is, will they be right for your retail establishment, and is the pricing structure offered by the vendor acceptable.
